Role and Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Integration Specialist to join our team at CAE. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for updating the software components of our flight simulator products used to train pilots.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the development, integration, and validation of systems and products, from simulation to user interface (software and hardware).
  • Provide supervision and technical support to developers in the integration of their systems, while ensuring that all requirements are met.
  • Facilitate communication between our customer and our design team for the resolution of software issues.
  • Travel to customer sites to achieve the integration of our software solutions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science.
  • Knowledge of C programming language and scripting languages.
  • Knowledge of LINUX and Windows operating systems.
  • Good understanding of software-hardware interface concepts.
  • Good understanding of configuration management tools (e.g. Github).
  • Eager to work in an environment of challenges and non-repetitive work.
  • Excellent communication skills and leadership abilities.
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues.
  • Good planning, organization, and adaptability skills.
  • Ready to travel on a frequent basis.
