Role and Responsibilities

CAE is seeking a highly skilled Software Integration Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for updating the software components of our flight simulator products used to train pilots.

The Role We Are Offering You:

  • You will participate in the development, integration, and validation of systems and products, from simulation to user interface (software and hardware).
  • You will provide supervision and technical support to developers in the integration of their systems, while ensuring that all requirements are met.
  • You will facilitate the communication between our customer and our design team for the resolution of software issues.
  • You will travel the world to work from our customer site to achieve the integration of our own software solutions.

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

  • Holds a bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science.
  • Knows the C programming language and scripting languages.
  • Knows the LINUX and Windows operating systems.
  • Has a good understanding of software-hardware interface concepts.
  • Has a good understanding of configuration management tools (e.g. Github).
  • Eager to work in an environment of challenges and non-repetitive work.
  • Excellent communication skills and demonstrate leadership.
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues.
  • Good planning, organization, and adaptability skills required.
  • Ready to travel on a frequent basis.
