Job Title: Trade Instructor

We are seeking a skilled Trade Instructor to join our team at Kopar Administration Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising students in work sessions, training students in practical shop work, and preparing teaching materials and outlines for courses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise students in work sessions and ensure their safety and well-being.
  • Train students in practical shop work sessions, providing hands-on instruction and guidance.
  • Prepare teaching materials and outlines for courses, including lesson plans and assessments.
  • Prepare, administer, and mark tests and papers to evaluate students' progress.
  • Prepare reports on student progress and program effectiveness.
  • Deliver lectures and presentations to students, using a variety of teaching methods and materials.
  • Teach workshops to trades students, focusing on practical skills and industry standards.
  • Develop teaching materials and other resources for program delivery, including curriculum development and instructional design.
  • Assist students in developing life skills, such as time management, teamwork, and problem-solving.
Requirements:
  • 11-15 years of experience in a related field.
  • Registered Apprenticeship certificate or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work with diverse groups of students and staff.
