Job Title: Trade Instructor

We are seeking a skilled Trade Instructor to join our team at Kopar Administration Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising students in work sessions, training students in practical shop work, and preparing teaching materials and outlines for courses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise students in work sessions and ensure their safety and well-being.
  • Train students in practical shop work and provide guidance and support as needed.
  • Prepare teaching materials and outlines for courses, including lesson plans and assessments.
  • Prepare, administer, and mark tests and papers to evaluate students' progress.
  • Prepare reports on student progress and provide feedback to students and management.
  • Deliver lectures and presentations to students and provide guidance on practical skills.
  • Teach workshops to trades students and provide hands-on training.
  • Develop teaching materials and other resources for program delivery.
  • Assist students to develop life skills and provide support as needed.
Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Registered Apprenticeship certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work with youth and adults in a workshop setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
