Job Title: Labourer - Metal Fabrication

RAYCO STEEL LTD. is seeking a reliable and skilled Labourer - Metal Fabrication to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Labourer - Metal Fabrication to assist in the manufacturing of metal products. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating metal cleaning equipment, assisting structural steel and platework fitters, and performing various tasks related to metal fabrication.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate metal cleaning equipment to remove excess welds, rust, scale, and other materials from metal products.
  • Assist structural steel and platework fitters, sheet metal workers, metal machine operators, or other metal workers.
  • Grind or chip excess metal from metal products using hand tools.
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas.
  • Load and unload vehicles.
  • Assist trucks and delivery drivers to load and unload vehicles.
  • Clean work area.
  • Load and unload vehicles using a forklift or dolly.
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Own vehicle.
  • Steel-toed safety boots.
  • Hard hat.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Manual dexterity.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to handle heavy loads.
