Job Title: Clinical Care Coordinator

We are seeking a motivated Registered Nurse with a dedication for delivering compassionate patient care to join our team at Northern Health Authority.

Job Summary:

The Clinical Care Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordination, development, implementation, evaluation and administration of resident care, clinical practice and care programs; and the overall formal supervision of all care staff to ensure a high standard of quality care and service is delivered.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct and indirect support, guidance, direction, intervention in the delivery of resident care and care planning process.
  • Supervise and provide leadership to care staff.
  • Monitor budgets and track expenses, developing plans to stay within budget as required.
  • Act as a role model in creating a collaborative and harmonious working atmosphere.
  • Recognize and intervene in an emergency situation.
Requirements:
  • Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant.
  • Post graduate courses and/or certification in Gerontology.
  • Five (5) years recent related clinical practice experience within the last seven (7) years, where relevant nursing skill and management principals have been utilized, including two years successful formal supervisory experience in a health care setting.
  • An equivalent combination of training and experience.
