About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Maintenance Assistant to join our warehouse team at Great Canadian Entertainment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance and Inventory Management: Receive, document, and distribute merchandise while maintaining a safe and welcoming work environment for all team members.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Report any discrepancies, errors, or issues related to product receipt, inventory management, and distribution.
  • Distribution and Processing: Distribute products, process credits and returns, and maintain accurate records in our system.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform basic equipment maintenance, report inefficiencies, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Special Events: Assist with setting up and tearing down special events as needed.
  • Transportation: May drive to other sites for deliveries, using company vehicles if necessary.

Education and Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma is required.
  • At least one year of work experience, preferably in a warehouse or logistics role, is desired.
  • The ability to obtain a Gaming License is mandatory.
  • Forklift certification and WHMIS training are assets.
  • A valid driver's license and clean driving abstract are required.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in English language (written and spoken) are essential.

Work Environment Considerations:

  • This role involves lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending, stretching, and driving, with some exposure to heat, cold, dust, and dirt.
  • Non-traditional work hours may be required.

Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additional benefits include comprehensive health insurance, RRSP matching, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
