Job Summary

The Server, Care Specialist is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to residents and guests in the dining room and lounges. This role requires a high level of organization, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide tableside meal service with a focus on resident satisfaction and comfort
  • Carry out general cleaning duties and routines, including setting and cleaning of tables and preparation areas
  • Prepare and serve food, beverages, and accompaniments in a timely and efficient manner
  • Deliver and pick up trays from resident suites as required
  • Assist with special events and functions in the dining room and lounges
  • Maintain a high level of hygiene and cleanliness in the dining and lounge areas

Requirements

  • Minimum Grade 10 education or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year serving experience, preferably in a residential care setting
  • Food Safe Certificate required
  • First Aid/CPR Certificate
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects as required
