Material Handler

About the Role:
HORIBA Instruments is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team. As a Material Handler, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our supply chain, from receiving and processing transactions to packaging and shipping instruments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Packing and shipping instruments with precision and accuracy
- Creating shipping documents using carrier-supplied computers and ensuring compliance with international requirements
- Utilizing knowledge of packing and shipping techniques, including vacuum sealer, palletizing, and strapping
- Experience with UPS Worldship, FedEx Ship Manager, and DHL, both domestic and global
- Assisting in receiving and shipping processes, including processing transactions and packaging instruments
Requirements:
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment
- Strong understanding of ESD and cleanroom policies
- Knowledge of SAP is a plus
