About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and physically capable individual to join our team at Stress Re-movers as a Furniture Mover. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient relocation of furniture and other products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, Unload, and Move Products: You will be responsible for loading, unloading, and moving products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment.
  • Operate Equipment: You will operate a variety of equipment to load, unload, and move materials and products.
  • Provide Customer Service: You will provide excellent customer service to our clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Pack and Unpack Goods: You will pack and unpack goods with care, ensuring they are properly secured and protected during transit.
  • Transport and Distribute Materials: You will transport and distribute materials and goods to our clients in a timely and efficient manner.
Work Environment and Physical Demands

This role requires you to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment. You will be required to lift and move heavy objects, work in various locations, and adapt to changing situations.

Requirements
  • Physical Demands: You must be physically capable of lifting and moving heavy objects, and working in a physically demanding environment.
  • Workload: You must be able to handle a large workload and adapt to changing situations.
  • Weight Handling: You must be able to lift and move objects weighing more than 45 kg (100 lbs).

Work Terms and Conditions
  • Work Term: This is a permanent position.
  • Work Language: English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
  • Hours: You will work 32 to 40 hours per week.
