Nurse Care Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to join our team in the Hanover area. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a variety of long-term and acute care facilities, providing exceptional nursing care to residents.
Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality nursing care in accordance with established policies, physician's orders, and resident plans of care.
- Utilize sound nursing practices to ensure excellent care and personal attention in assigned home areas.
- Ensure timely and safe resident admissions, transfers, and discharges.
- Manage and maintain accurate records of medications, narcotics, and other controlled substances.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care to meet the physical, emotional, and social needs of residents.
- Active registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Ability to work with individuals with infectious diseases.
- BLS Certificate.
- Valid First Aid & CPR.
- Proof of current immunizations for MMRV and negative TB skin test within one year.
- Current Vulnerable Sector Police Check.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Flexibility to work varied shift times, including 8- or 12-hour shifts.
- Ability to 'float' between units within a hospital as needed.
- Reliability and adherence to RhynoCare's shift acceptance/cancellation policy.
