Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Physiotherapy Rehabilitation Assistant to join our team at Physiotherapy Associates. The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, assisting physiotherapists and occupational therapists in rehabilitation programs for patients with various injuries or disabilities.

About the Role

This is a permanent position with a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, including chronic or long-term care facilities and centres. Relocation costs are not covered by the employer, but candidates willing to relocate are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patients' physical abilities and assist in developing treatment plans under the direction of physiotherapists and/or occupational therapists.
  • Carry out rehabilitation programs, administering evaluative tests and procedures as needed.
  • Clean and maintain equipment, prepare and maintain supplies, and document patient progress.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments, process files and paperwork, and ensure accurate and timely documentation.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A college diploma or certificate from a program of 1-2 years.
  • At least 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Current CPR and First Aid certificates.
