About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Light Duty Cleaner to join our team at Northern Cleaners Whitehorse Limited. As a Light Duty Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our clients and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, clean and disinfect elevators, handle and report lost and found items, provide basic information on facilities, pick up debris and empty trash containers, wash windows, walls and ceilings, clean changing rooms and showers.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, provide excellent customer service and ensure a positive experience for our clients.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment, work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, handle heavy loads, work in a physically demanding environment, stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, kneel, and combine sitting, standing, and walking.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication.
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week.
