Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our team as a Project Lead. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading civil infrastructure projects, including buildings, ports, harbors, and bridges, and will work closely with our team of engineers and scientists to deliver innovative and cost-effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Lead civil infrastructure projects from conceptual design to completion, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets, and ensure that all project stakeholders are informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with our team of engineers and scientists to develop and implement innovative and cost-effective solutions that meet the unique needs of each project.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers and scientists, and ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and other project partners, and ensure that their needs and expectations are met throughout the project lifecycle.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, and ensure that our team is equipped with the latest knowledge and skills to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) registration or eligibility to register.
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited University.
- +10 years of experience in civil engineering consulting, with a strong background in project management and leadership.
- Hands-on experience with design software such as SAFI, Structure Point, WoodWorks, and Microsoft Office.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
