About the Role

At Riggit Services, we are seeking a highly skilled Rigging Operations Specialist to join our team. This is a key role that requires a strong background in theatre/arena rigging and a proven ability to work safely at heights.

About You

We are looking for an individual with a high school diploma or GED and at least 2 years of post-secondary training related to theatre training. ETCP certification is preferred, and experience in rope access (SPRAT or IRATA) is a bonus.

Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize wire rope, cordage, chain, connecting hardware, hoisting devices, slings, and other rigging hardware to facilitate safe and efficient operations.
  • Ensure a safe working environment by complying with all OHS regulations, HR policies, and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with the Ground Rigging team to assemble various types of rigging steel, run motors, and hang trusses as needed.
  • Lift and secure rigging equipment for corporate shows and special projects, including secondary roof installations/removals and permanent installations.
  • Perform inspections, maintenance, and repair of rigging equipment, and provide training to junior staff members.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this role is $65,000 - $80,000, depending on experience. As a Rigging Operations Specialist, you will also be entitled to benefits such as on-call compensation, casual scheduling, and the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
