Body Shop Manager Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Body Shop Manager to join our team at MTB Transit Solutions. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for leading our body shop employees and ensuring the highest quality repairs and refurbishments of heavy-duty vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective work processes to ensure efficient and high-quality repairs and refurbishments.
  • Supervise and motivate a team of technicians, welders, and general laborers to achieve exceptional results.
  • Inspect and quality control work to ensure it meets our high standards.
  • Manage employee schedules and resources to optimize productivity and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and workflow.
  • Work with finance to manage customer invoicing and accounts receivable.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records and reports to track shop performance and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a supervisory role in a body shop or heavy-duty vehicle repair environment.
  • Strong knowledge of heavy-duty vehicle repair and refurbishment practices and procedures.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Canadian resident.
