Key Responsibilities

Leadership and Team Management:

  • Develop a positive work environment by assigning tasks, providing support, and motivating team members to achieve their best.
  • Hire, train, and counsel employees to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
  • Inspect and quality control shop employees' work to ensure it meets high standards.

Operational Management:

  • Manage and schedule employees for optimal efficiency and quality repairs.
  • Prioritize work to achieve best-in-class customer service.
  • Maintain accurate repair order flow to satisfy shop and customer requirements.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Collaborate with other key business functions, such as finance and purchasing, to ensure seamless operations.
  • Work with finance on customer invoicing and accounts receivable.
  • Work with purchasing and materials department on vendor purchasing and payments.

Requirements:

  • Minimum five years of experience supervising body repairs and/or assembly of heavy-duty vehicles.
  • Strong knowledge of heavy-duty vehicle/equipment preventative maintenance, refurbishment, and repair practices and procedures.
  • Safety-oriented mindset, acute attention to detail, and ability to work well under pressure.
