Job Title: Stucco Plasterer

We are seeking a skilled Stucco Plasterer to join our team at CV SIDING & STUCCO LTD.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for applying, leveling, and smoothing coats of plaster to create a smooth and durable finish. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work at heights.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply, level, and smooth coats of plaster to walls and ceilings
  • Clean and prepare surfaces for plastering
  • Finish corners and angles, and create decorative designs in the finish coat, if required
  • Mix plaster ingredients to the desired consistency
  • Mould and install ornamental plaster panels, cornices, and trim
  • Smooth out excess compound and allow the coat to dry
  • Spray acoustic or texture materials over walls and ceilings
  • Trowel or spray coats of stucco over exteriors of buildings to form weatherproof surfaces
  • Prepare wall and ceiling layouts
  • Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience an asset
  • Ability to work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
  • Dependability, flexibility, reliability, and a team player attitude
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a variety of locations, including outdoors, and will be exposed to dusty and physically demanding conditions.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Work Schedule:

The work schedule is 35 to 40 hours per week.
