Job Title: Retail Loss Prevention Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Loss Prevention Officer to join our team at Atlantic Private Protection Service.

Job Summary:

The Retail Loss Prevention Officer will be responsible for enforcing regulations to maintain order and resolving conflicts in various retail settings. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Enforce regulations to maintain order and resolve conflicts in retail settings
  • Prevent and detect shoplifting and theft in retail establishments
  • May be required to appear in court as a witness
  • Monitor establishment activities and ensure compliance with regulations
Requirements:
  • CPR Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
  • Criminal record check
  • Bondable
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Judgement and reliability
  • Team player with efficient interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in retail loss prevention
  • Security and safety experience
