Job Title: Retail Security Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Security Specialist to join our team at Atlantic Private Protection Service.

Job Summary:

The Retail Security Specialist will be responsible for enforcing regulations to maintain order and resolving conflicts in retail establishments. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Enforce regulations to maintain order and resolve conflicts in retail establishments
  • Prevent and detect shoplifting and theft in retail establishments
  • May be required to appear in court as a witness
  • Monitor establishment activities and ensure compliance with regulations
Requirements:
  • CPR Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
  • Criminal record check
  • Bondable
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Efficient interpersonal skills
  • Judgement
  • Reliability
  • Team player
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in retail loss prevention
  • Knowledge of security and safety protocols
