Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Director of Organizational Excellence to join our team at Ontario Health atHome. This is a hybrid position with a possible work location from any of the 14 Ontario Health atHome office locations.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in organizational development, change management, and talent management. They will lead a team and provide strategic direction in assessing, identifying, planning, developing, and implementing organizational development strategies that drive organizational effectiveness, change, culture, capacity, engagement, performance, and learning and skills development.

About the Role
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and expertise to the development and execution of effective and integrated organizational development strategies, plans, initiatives, programs, policies aligned with the company's mission, vision, and strategic goals.
  • Contribute to strategic and operational planning of the HRODE portfolio, including the People Strategy and Annual Business Plan, and identify opportunities for program and service enhancements.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to identify key areas for improvement and change.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in organizational development, human resources, and leadership development. They will be able to demonstrate their ability to lead complex projects, build strong relationships with stakeholders, and communicate effectively at all levels.

Requirements
  • A university degree in organizational development, industrial/organizational psychology, organizational behaviour, human resources, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 8-10 years of related experience, with 3-5 years in a management role.
  • Strong generalist experience, with health care experience preferred.
  • Experience leading in a unionized environment, preferred.
  • Experience in program leadership related to people, strategy, financial, and resource utilization.
