Job Title: Tile Installer

At Daniels Drypack Services, we are seeking a skilled Tile Installer to join our team. As a Tile Installer, you will be responsible for installing tile surfaces in residential settings, ensuring a high level of quality and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, measure, and mark surfaces to be covered
  • Mix, apply, and spread mortar, cement, mastic, glue, or other adhesives using a hand trowel
  • Set tiles in place and apply pressure to affix them to the base
  • Align and straighten tiles
  • Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings using hand and power cutting tools
  • Pack grout into joints between tiles and remove excess grout
  • Build underbeds and install anchor bolts, wires, and brackets
  • Install tile strips
Requirements:
  • Occupational Health and Safety Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
  • Fall Arrest Protection Training Course
Work Environment:
  • Physically demanding
  • Handling heavy loads
  • Bending, crouching, kneeling
  • Ability to distinguish between colours
  • Attention to detail
  • Hand-eye co-ordination
