Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Consultant to join our team at Randstad Canada. As a Business Consultant, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance to clients on financial services and operations management.

Key Responsibilities

Use Access and Excel to create user-friendly reports

Workday Reporting – Partner with HR functions, subject matter experts, and vendors to implement/configure, gather/document/socialize requirements, test and optimize custom reporting and calculated fields within Workday

Analytical / Problem Solving Skills – Consult with peers, vendors, Workday Community, and other sources to investigate and solve data-related issues or understand core functionality and limitations within Workday.

Consulting - Partner closely with teams across HR to provide consultation and Workday solution expertise to intake, solution, and deploy designated initiatives and implementations across the portfolio.

Comfort with Large Data Sets – Lead detailed analyses of large data sets (ranging from tens of thousands to millions of records) using either Excel, Text Pad, Access, or other tools to find anomalies, and understand the data, and make recommendations.

Requirements
Must haves:

2-4 years of experience in a similar role

Strong Access/Excel skills- comfortable with advanced functions (vlookups, xlookups, Index matches, wild card functions etc)

Experience with custom reporting in Workday

Nice to have:

Very nice to have - Experience with O2 Severance

Knowledge of the HR function (systems, processes, and policy)

Workday Pro Certification

SQL

Tableau
