Job Title: Consultant

Join Numerator's team as a Consultant (Consumer Insights) and play a vital role in serving Fortune 100 and fast-growing strategic customers in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interface directly with clients' consumer insights, shopper insights, category management, brand management, and field teams to support their most pressing business questions and challenges.
  • Regularly leverage Numerator's consumer panel and survey data to deliver analytic insights and data-driven stories that address clients' goals of driving increased sales and improved marketing effectiveness.
  • Work with clients and Numerator's product team to develop, prototype, and pilot new solutions and enhanced capabilities, bringing the voice of customers back to the greater organization to drive business growth.
  • Support sales efforts by participating in sales cycles and presentations as a subject matter expert and Numerator solutions guru, including occasional product demonstrations.
  • Generate thought leadership content for clients, including webinars, training materials, blog posts, and industry presentations.
  • Travel, as required, to support the above responsibilities.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree (required) or Master's Degree (preferred) with 3+ years relevant experience.
  • Experience in CPG, including roles in Brand Marketing, Market Research, Category Management, Shopper & Consumer Insights, or as a service provider to these functions.
  • Experience in consulting, product, sales support, and/or service delivery functions in the relevant software industry (e.g., Nielsen, Circana, etc.) is ideal.
  • Working knowledge of enterprise software applications and services designed for the retail and consumer goods industries (e.g., Nielsen, Circana, Dunnhumby).
  • Experience as a power user of Microsoft Excel and Business Intelligence software such as Tableau, Business Objects, etc.
