About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join our team at Technica Mining in Sudbury, Ontario.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Troubleshooting and maintaining electrical systems, including switchgear, transformers, and cabling
  • Installing and advancing electrical mine services to support mine operations
  • Maintaining electrical mining equipment, such as jumbo drills and mechanized bolters
  • Ensuring safe working practices in accordance with company standards and procedures

Qualifications:

  • Valid 309a Construction and Maintenance or 442a Industrial Electrical License
  • Completion of electrical apprenticeship
  • Active membership in good standing with Skilled Trades Ontario
  • Working knowledge and skills in underground construction and maintenance
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and wiring schematics
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
