Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Woodwork Specialist to join our team at KP Contracting Group Inc. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for creating and repairing various wood structures and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
  • Fabricate and install prefabricated parts, including windows, doors, stairs, moldings, and hardware
  • Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants, and other establishments
Work Environment:
  • Dusty work environment with frequent exposure to outdoor conditions
  • Combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling
  • Handling heavy loads and physically demanding tasks
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in carpentry or a related field
Compensation:
