Job Title: Helper, Construction Trades

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Helper, Construction Trades to join our team at Alberta Constructions Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will assist our construction trades team with various tasks, including loading and unloading construction materials, mixing and pouring materials, and removing rubble and debris from construction sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
  • Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted
  • File, grind, and sand body surfaces to be repaired
  • Clean and maintain work space
  • Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints
Requirements:
  • Fast-paced environment
  • Physically demanding
  • Repetitive tasks
  • Overtime required
  • Up to 23 kg (50 lbs) weight handling

Work Environment:

This is a permanent position with a 30 to 40 hour work week. The language of work is English.
