About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Construction Trades Assistant to join our team at Alberta Constructions Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation, cleaning, and maintenance of construction sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
  • Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted
  • File, grind, and sand body surfaces to be repaired
  • Clean and maintain work space
  • Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints
Requirements
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in dusty environments
  • Willingness to relocate for work assignments
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
  • Flexibility, reliability, and strong teamwork skills
