Research and Development Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled Research and Development Scientist to join our team at Dow Chemical Canada ULC. As a PhD scientist, you will work with a cross-functional team to address analytical challenges and provide technical support for plant operations and optimization.

Key responsibilities include developing and implementing measurement science approaches, such as separation science, to accelerate delivery on high-priority projects. Lab experience is highly desirable.

Requirements

  • A PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or other science-related discipline is required.
  • New graduates, those that expect to graduate by December 2025, and post-doctoral candidates are encouraged to apply.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in Canada without company support or sponsorship.
  • A minimum GPA of 2.700 (on a scale of 4.000) is preferred.
