We are seeking a qualified Construction Laborer to join our team at Galaxy Human Resources Inc. This is a permanent position offering a competitive salary and benefits package.

Job Title: Construction Laborer

About the Job:

The successful candidate will be responsible for loading, unloading and transporting construction materials, mixing and pouring materials such as concrete and asphalt, assisting in aligning pipes during pipeline construction, cleaning and piling salvaged materials, performing routine maintenance work, cleaning up chemical spills and other contaminants, and removing rubble and other debris at construction sites.

Responsibilities:

  • Loading, unloading and transporting construction materials
  • Mixing and pouring materials such as concrete and asphalt
  • Assisting in aligning pipes during pipeline construction
  • Cleaning and piling salvaged materials
  • Performing routine maintenance work
  • Cleaning up chemical spills and other contaminants
  • Removing rubble and other debris at construction sites

Requirements:

To be considered for this position, applicants must have a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the field.

Additional Information:

This is a permanent position with a salary range of $45,000 to $55,000 per year. The work term is permanent, and the work language is English. The hours of work are 30 to 40 hours per week.
