About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Specialist to join our team at strEATS West Lethbridge Kitchen. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food preparation and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Kitchen Management: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring that we always have the necessary resources to meet demand.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean and maintain the kitchen and work areas, ensuring that they are always clean and safe for staff and customers.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
Work Environment

As a Culinary Specialist at strEATS West Lethbridge Kitchen, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on delivering high-quality food to our customers. You will be required to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail at all times.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant in an urban area.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding, repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods, and working under pressure.
