About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Specialist to join our team at NEW TASTE OF INDIA. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Kitchen Management: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization, and implement procedures to maintain high standards.
  • Staff Training and Development: Train kitchen staff and helpers in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, and provide guidance on kitchen operations and procedures.
  • Inventory Management: Order supplies and equipment, and maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Cleanliness and Maintenance: Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment, and perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is in good working order.
  • Culinary Expertise: Develop and maintain culinary expertise in East Indian cuisine, and stay up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
