Job Description

Foilon is seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence ETL Developer to join our team. As a key member of our data team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing data ingestion and transformation frameworks using Azure Data Factory and Databricks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop data ingestion frameworks using Oracle Golden Gate and Azure Data Factory.
  • Develop and maintain data transformation pipelines using Azure Databricks and Python.
  • Work closely with the data team to identify gaps and inefficiencies in the current production reporting environment and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain data models, including physical model mapping from data source to reporting destination.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to configure Oracle Golden Gate and Azure Data Factory.
  • Develop and maintain scripts for data transformation and loading.
  • Perform unit testing and ensure data integrity.
  • Work closely with the business team to understand requirements and provide solutions.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in ETL tools such as Microsoft SSIS, stored procedures.
  • 2+ years of experience in Azure Data Lake and Data Warehouse, and building Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks pipelines.
  • 2+ years of experience in Python programming.
  • Experience in Oracle Golden Gate, SQL Server, and Oracle.
  • Ability to present technical requirements to the business.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in data modeling and data warehousing.
  • Experience in building data ingestion and change data capture using Oracle Golden Gate.
  • Experience in working with Azure DevOps and agile development methodologies.
