About the Role

Lafrentz Road Services (1999) Ltd is seeking a skilled Truck and Coach Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and safety of our fleet of commercial transport vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Vehicle Maintenance and Repair: Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems, including truck-trailer systems.
  • Estimation and Costing: Estimate parts and labor costs to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs, ensuring accurate and efficient service delivery.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections to ensure vehicles meet safety and regulatory standards.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Certifications: Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with manual dexterity required.
  • Work Schedule: 32 hours per week, with a permanent work term.
  • Language: English.
