About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at Marksmen Construction. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and installing structures and fixtures made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements
  • Prepare layouts and measurements to ensure compliance with building codes
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials to create structures and fixtures
  • Prepare tenders and quotations for clients
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
  • Fabricate and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
Requirements
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in carpentry
  • Ability to work in various locations and environments
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
