At Mar-Tec Woodworking LTD, we're looking for a skilled Cabinetmaker Specialist to join our team. This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary of $55,000 per year.

About the Job

The successful candidate will have experience in studying plans and specifications, trimming joints, fitting parts together, sanding surfaces, and applying finishes. They must be able to maintain a clean and safe work environment, supervise other workers, and repair or restyle wooden furniture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain high standards of quality and attention to detail in all aspects of cabinetmaking.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient workflow and meet production targets.
  • Supervise junior staff members and provide guidance on best practices.
  • Develop and implement new techniques to improve productivity and reduce waste.
Requirements
  • Prior experience as a cabinetmaker or related trade.
  • Strong manual dexterity and fine motor skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education an asset.
