Seeking a dynamic and dedicated Home Healthcare Physician to join our team at the Interior Health Authority. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and making a meaningful impact in our community.

Kelowna General Hospital (KGH) is home to several specialized departments, including cardiology, neurosurgery, and urology. Our hospital also features a modern maternity ward, neonatal intensive care unit, and pediatric ward. With over 460 beds and more than 84,000 ED visits annually, KGH is a hub of activity and opportunity for healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality patient care in the comfort of patients' homes through the Hospital at Home program.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to determine patient eligibility, coordinate care and monitoring, and assess readiness for discharge.
- Assess patients in hospital when accepted to the HaH program and provide house calls as required, a minimum of once per patient stay.
- Eligible for The College of Family Physicians of Canada Cert. (CCFP)
- Doctorate in Medicine
- Coverage with the Canadian Medical Protective Association is mandatory
We offer a competitive compensation package, including a salary of $336,162 per FTE or $200.10 per hour, as well as comprehensive benefits and professional development opportunities. Additionally, we provide leadership opportunities through the NAVIG8 Emerging Physician Leaders Program and support participation in committees and quality improvement initiatives through the Physician Quality Improvement (PQI) program.
