About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior RCDD Designer to join our Facility Engineering and Design Team at Olsson. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing electrical systems for large commercial developments, data centers, and other complex projects.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and Implementation: Utilize CAD/BIM software to create detailed engineering designs, focusing on efficient data center/building cable routing, equipment layouts, and communication systems.
  2. Design Authority: Serve as the design authority on projects, driving high-quality outcomes and pioneering solutions.
  3. Project Leadership: Lead smaller projects with meticulous attention to detail, overseeing each phase from inception to completion.
  4. Client Representation: Represent Olsson's dedication to excellence and partnership in client meetings.
  5. Site Visits: Be ready to visit job sites as required, adapting to diverse conditions to guarantee project success.

  3. Education: Associate or Bachelor's degree in Drafting and Design preferred.
  4. Experience: 6+ years of CAD/BIM experience; proficiency in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD.
  5. RCDD Licensure: RCDD Licensure.
  6. BIM Experience: Demonstrated ability to design and layout complex engineering drawings, with a preference for experience in BIM 360, Navisworks, and Revit.
