About the Role:
We are looking for a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse (RPN) who is passionate about gerontology and committed to delivering exceptional patient care. Your expertise will be invaluable in supporting our residents to maintain their independence and dignity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct resident care as needed to meet the needs of the residents
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate resident care in accordance with established vision and values of the organization
- Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to ensure delivery of resident-centered care
- Utilize evidence-based practice to promote quality care and improve patient outcomes
Requirements:
- Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN or RPN registrant
- Post-basic education in gerontology an asset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
Benefits:
- Competitive salary range: $73,000 - $101,000 per annum
- Comprehensive benefits package including extended health/dental and a municipal pension plan for part-time and full-time employees
- Four weeks vacation with one year of continuous service
- Financial support for moving expenses available for eligible positions
