Job Title: Property Manager - Corner Brook Plaza

We are seeking a highly skilled Property Manager to join our team at Gérances Westcliff Ltée. As a Property Manager, you will be responsible for the strategic direction and day-to-day operation of Corner Brook Plaza, a prime shopping destination in the Corner Brook area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the continuous improvement of the property to maximize cash flow and increase financial return for stakeholders.
  • Participate in long-term leasing and development strategy for the asset.
  • Drive continued growth in sales to attract new tenants and maintain existing ones.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with municipal authorities and local organizations.
  • Select, train, and motivate the onsite management team.
  • Leasing the center's vacant space and administering lease renewals in collaboration with head office.
  • Prepare the annual center budget, including forecast of annual income and expenses, and overall expense control.
  • Monthly control of common area expenses and collection of amounts due from tenants.
  • Ensure proper attention is taken to manage receivables and payables effectively.
  • Supervise annual promotional budgeting and implementation.
  • Review security procedures and plans to ensure appropriate coverage and a sound security plan is maintained.
  • Supervise all safety, maintenance, and repair work carried out in the center and by tenants.
Qualifications:
  • The ideal candidate is dynamic, organized, structured, and self-starter.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to maintain good professional relations with tenants, suppliers, employees, and all other stakeholders.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Demonstrated sound business judgment.
  • An undergraduate university degree in administration or a related field.
  • 5 years' experience in property management and personnel supervision.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of BOMA BEST program an asset.
  • Knowledge of Yardi accounting program an asset.
