Job Description

We're seeking a Senior Security Researcher with deep expertise in security research delivery to tackle hard problems related to threat actor discovery and detection. You'll work closely with the threat intelligence analyst community to analyze vast amounts of telemetry from different products and design protections for millions of customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze complex security threats and develop novel correlation and analysis ideas to detect attacks and threat actors.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to build new insights and automate tracking of threat actors through expertise in security product and platform internals.
  • Contribute to the development of threat intelligence-based detection solutions that impact global customer-facing security solutions.
About the Role

This is an Individual Contributor role within the Microsoft Threat Intelligence Center (MSTIC), where you'll have unique optics into end-to-end attacks and collaborate with experts to join the dots and showcase the art of the possible.

Requirements:
  • Deep expertise in security research and delivery, with a track record of successful threat actor discovery and detection.
  • Strong understanding of security product and platform internals, including cloud services.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with experience working with cross-functional teams.
