Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining a wide range of tools within the DQ platform. This includes working closely with the BI reporting area to generate various dashboards and collaborating with other core team members on DQ rule design and execution. Additionally, the developer will contribute to the creation of RESTful services for efficiently extracting DQ exceptions from diverse upstream applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop critical components of the Data Quality and Metadata Management platform
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and efficient data extraction
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code adhering to industry standards and best practices
  • Contribute to the enhancement of the existing DQ platform, addressing emerging challenges and opportunities
Requirements

To succeed in this role, candidates must possess:

  • Extensive experience in Java/Scala development, with a strong understanding of database concepts and SQL/Stored Procedures
  • Familiarity with Unix and Shell Scripting, as well as Git and Jenkins CI/CD pipeline
  • Knowledge of Spark SQL and Python programming languages
  • Experience working in an Agile environment and ability to adapt to changing priorities
