Packaging Strategy Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Packaging Strategy Lead to join our Global Parts, Accessories and Apparel team at BRP. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing packaging strategies that drive business growth, reduce waste, and ensure product safety during transportation and storage.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement packaging strategies that meet business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop packaging solutions that are efficient, sustainable, and cost-effective.
- Work with suppliers and vendors to ensure the delivery of high-quality packaging materials and services.
- Monitor industry trends and best practices to stay up-to-date with the latest packaging technologies and innovations.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for packaging and labelling.
- Ensure packaging solutions protect and preserve products during transportation, storage, and handling.
- Analyze data and conduct research to improve the packaging process and implement relevant solutions.
- Ensure packaging and labelling consistency and quality across the organization.
- Bachelor's or technical degree in product or industrial design, packaging, or related technical engineering fields.
- 7+ years of experience in packaging design and development.
- Strong knowledge of packaging technology, materials, and design principles.
- Familiarity with production equipment and manufacturing processes.
- Understanding of sustainability and environmental issues related to packaging.
- Knowledge of computer-aided design (CAD) software and project management skills.
- Strong creativity for developing unique packaging solutions.
- Available for occasional travel to visit suppliers, dealers, or packaging trade shows.
