About the Role

The National Property Management Lead will be responsible for developing, supporting, and overseeing Property Management services on the RP1 contracts. This role will involve process development, internal oversight, and collaboration with account leaders and other relevant parties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent the account at cross-account leadership councils and collaborate with account leaders to review, develop, and refine property management programs.
  • Lead the implementation of property management programs and drive consistency in program execution throughout the account.
  • Identify, recommend, and implement programs to achieve greater client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with account leaders to review, develop, and refine related programs to enhance client communication and satisfaction.
  • Lead the implementation of related programs for assigned accounts.
  • Collaborate with account senior management to ensure service delivery performance objectives are met.
  • Conduct high-level reviews of programs to ensure all requirements are delivered as per contract requirements.
  • Identify shortcomings in service levels within property management service lines and provide recommendations to enhance performance.
  • Collaborate with account senior management to develop and implement action plans to remediate performance gaps.
  • Collaborate with relevant parties to ensure all capital planning requirements are identified, budgeted, and recommended to the client.
  • Represent property management service lines for performance management of third-party service providers.
  • Collaborate with procurement teams to lead contract development and review for core services delivered through property management service lines.
  • Accountable for ongoing review and improvement of processes, resources, and tools for the delivery of Property Management services.
  • Collaborate with relevant parties to review, develop, and refine standardized processes, resources, and tools to ensure ongoing continuous improvement.
  • Act as Property Management lead, facilitating integration and alignment of services with other RP1 work streams.
  • Facilitate best practices sharing and communicate and train relevant parties on updated and/or new processes, resources, and tools.
  • Collaborate with relevant parties to define data standards and utilization of data fields within RealSuite.
  • Collaborate with relevant parties to continuously improve reporting capabilities.
  • Act as the transition lead for the contract, working with relevant parties to transition building assets into and out of contracts as required.
  • Collaborate with new team members to implement and deliver services and core processes.
  • Negotiate customized processes with the client and collaborate with internal team members to customize and implement processes to meet client needs.
  • Research and conduct analysis to determine root causes when performance gaps are exposed.
  • Review and analyze data to identify gaps and trends.
  • Determine and recommend corrective actions.
  • Conduct benchmarking studies and comparative analyses to support service delivery management and reporting.

Requirements

  • University and/or community college diploma or equivalent training.
  • More than 10 years of job-related experience.
  • Strong operations management skills and background in the area of property (facility) management delivery and operations.
  • Experience with account management, including client relationship management, key performance indicator management, and budget management.
  • Strong people leadership skills.
  • Strong communication, influencing, and persuasion, interpersonal, and negotiating skills.
  • Bilingualism would be considered a key asset.
  • Proven business management skills with strong business acumen.
  • One or more of CPM, CFM, RPA, FMA would be considered an asset.
