You will conduct complex geospatial analyses, create analytical tools and models, and collaborate with stakeholders to meet business requirements. This role requires applying research and theory through the creation of analytical tools and processes to lead data-driven decisions within the organization.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Apply research and theory through the creation of analytical tools and processes to lead data-driven decisions within the organization
  • Create and implement statistical, geospatial, and business intelligence solutions that guide data-driven decision-making throughout the EPS
  • Perform spatial and statistical analysis on crime data to identify trends, forecast hotspots, and measure operational effectiveness, to support operational, strategic, and annual policing plans

Requirements:

  • University degree in statistics, mathematics, geography, GIS/spatial analysis, management sciences or related degree
  • A minimum of four (4) years directly related working experience in spatial analysis, statistics, or equivalent roles
  • Proficiency in ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, Esri Enterprise, Excel, Python, and/or SQL
