We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pharmacist to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a Pharmacist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the delivery of high-quality health services in our region.
About the Role:This is an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacist to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive pharmacy services to patients in Northern BC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assessing and recommending individualized treatments, providing expert advice to healthcare professionals, and monitoring drug prescribing and distribution to ensure safe and effective use of medications.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess and recommend individualized treatments for patients
- Provide expert advice to healthcare professionals on medication use and management
- Monitor drug prescribing and distribution to ensure safe and effective use of medications
- Collaborate with the interprofessional team to provide comprehensive patient care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and experiences
- Baccalaureate degree in Pharmacy and current licensure with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia
- Completion of a Hospital Pharmacy Residency Program or a combination of at least one year of hospital experience and advanced education courses
- Active membership in the Canadian Society of Hospital Pharmacists is encouraged
