Pharmacist Opportunity at Northern Health

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dispensary Pharmacist to join our team at Northern Health. As a key member of our pharmacy department, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Interpret medication orders and prescriptions, ensuring accurate and efficient dispensing of medications
- Assess prescriptions for therapeutic suitability and provide guidance to patients and healthcare teams
- Communicate effectively with physicians, patients, and other healthcare professionals to resolve prescription-related issues
- Participate in medication use evaluation projects, quality control activities, and clinical drug trials
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to identify and resolve drug therapy problems and achieve patient care outcomes
- Current license of the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia
- Active membership in the Canadian Society of Hospital Pharmacists is encouraged
- At least one year of related work experience in a hospital pharmacy, desirable
