Job Title: Information Technology Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Information Technology Specialist to join our team at Pan American Silver Corp.

Job Summary:

The Information Technology Specialist will provide technical support and assistance to employees, ensuring the smooth operation of our computer systems and networks. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support and assistance to employees, including troubleshooting and resolving computer-related issues.
  • Configure and maintain computer systems, networks, and software to ensure optimal performance.
  • Develop and implement technical solutions to improve system efficiency and reduce downtime.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless integration of IT systems and services.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and advancements, applying this knowledge to improve our IT infrastructure.
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, and software, including Shell script, MAC, Linux, Servers, Mac OS, MS Active Directory, MS Office, SQL, and SharePoint.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with employees at all levels.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively, with a strong attention to detail.
