OpTest Equipment Inc. is seeking a skilled Instrumentation Technician - Field to join our team. As a key member of our field service team, you will be responsible for installing, testing, and maintaining our instrumentation and control systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and test instrumentation and control systems to ensure proper operation
  • Repair and replace defective components and instruments
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance work to ensure optimal system performance
  • Calibrate instruments and components to ensure accuracy and precision
  • Collaborate with our team to resolve complex technical issues and improve system performance
Requirements
  • Post-secondary education in a related field (e.g. instrumentation and control, electrical engineering, etc.)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in instrumentation and control systems
  • Strong understanding of instrumentation and control systems, including electronic, electrical, and mechanical components
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel regularly
