Job Title: Itinerant Support Service Worker

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Itinerant Support Service Worker to join our team at Centre aide prévention jeunesse Lévis. As a key member of our community service organization, you will play a vital role in supporting vulnerable youth and providing them with the necessary tools to succeed.

Job Summary:

The Itinerant Support Service Worker will work with street population, assessing their relevant skill strengths and development needs, and providing support to help them achieve their goals. This is a temporary position, working 35 hours per week, with the possibility of extension. The ideal candidate will have a college diploma or equivalent, and experience in a related field is an asset.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare reports or case histories to document client progress and needs
  • Conduct follow-up assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of support services
  • Accompany clients to appointments and social outings to provide emotional support and guidance
  • Assess client's relevant skill strengths and development needs to create personalized support plans
Requirements:
  • College diploma or equivalent in a related field
  • Experience in a related field is an asset
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
